Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher
We are hiring a dedicated Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher to maintain the foundational cleanliness of our restaurant branch. This role ensures that front-of-house service plates, noodle bowls, and back-of-house kitchen pots and utensils are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and re-stocked with maximum speed and care during active dining shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrape, sort, wash, sanitize, and dry all plates, bowls, glassware, utensils, pots, and cooking pans efficiently.
Operate and properly maintain commercial dishwashing machinery; manually wash large kitchen items when necessary.
Sort and return clean dishes and kitchen tools to their designated storage stations promptly to avoid service delays.
Safely handle chemical cleaning agents and sanitation products according to safety guidelines.
Assist with general kitchen maintenance, clearing waste bins, and sweeping/mopping the dish-pit and line areas.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent. Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are highly encouraged to apply.
Previous experience as a dishwasher, steward, or utility worker in a restaurant or hotel setup is preferred but not required.
High physical endurance, agility, and the ability to work in a wet, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Honest, hard-working, punctual, and a collaborative team player.
