Job Description: Sales Manager (Hotels/Resorts)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at a luxurious hotel/resort. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with key clients to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agents.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the hotel's client base.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
Monitor and report on sales performance and develop plans to address any shortfalls.
Train and mentor sales team members to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel/resort industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.
Knowledge of market trends and competitive activity in the hospitality industry.
Experience leading and motivating a sales team.
