BUILDING MAINTENANCE

About the role

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team at Exxel Prime International Trading Inc. in South Caloocan Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the building's infrastructure, equipment, and systems to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment

2. Identify and address any maintenance or repair issues promptly to minimise disruptions

3. Perform minor repairs and coordinate with external contractors for more complex work

4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenditures

5. Ensure the building's cleanliness, safety, and security by monitoring and addressing any concerns

6. Assist with various handyman tasks as needed, such as painting, carpentry, and basic landscaping

7. Collaborate with the facilities management team to implement and optimise maintenance strategies

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience

2. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment

3. Proficiency in performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, both skilled and general handyman work

4. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to diagnose and address issues efficiently

5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders

7. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
