Production & Packaging Assistant (Casual)

About Us

We are a growing food manufacturing business based in Silverwater and are looking for a reliable and motivated Production & Packaging Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing things properly and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business.

Training will be provided to the right person, with opportunities to develop additional skills and responsibilities over time.

Duties Include

• Vacuum sealing and packaging products.

• Unpacking and repacking products.

• Labelling and preparing orders.

• Moving products and materials.

• General production duties.

• Cleaning and sanitising work areas and equipment.

• Manual handling duties.

• Working in a refrigerated environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

• Willing to learn and follow instructions.

• Able to work safely and maintain high hygiene standards.

• A team player with a positive attitude.

Previous experience in factory work, food production, warehousing or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia.

• Have reliable transport.

• Be physically capable of performing repetitive manual handling duties.

• Be comfortable working in a refrigerated production environment.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
