We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join a growing organization. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for general accounting functions, inventory accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis. This role requires a big-picture mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to support strategic business objectives while maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has progressive accounting experience, preferably within a warehousing or distribution environment, along with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure inventory accuracy through inventory controls, adjustments, discrepancy investigations, cycle counts, and annual inventory counts.

• Enforce sales and expense policies, including expense reclassifications and ensuring proper tax credit reporting.

• Perform month-end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and margin analysis.

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including customer credit analysis, payment application, deposits, and collections.

• Identify opportunities for operational and financial process improvements across accounting systems, policies, and procedures.

• Prepare reports and submissions for government agencies and external vendors as required.

• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis using advanced Excel functions, including margin analysis and commission calculations.

• Manage invoicing, tracking, and collections for company events and marketing-related funds.

• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial systems while supporting additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 3- 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

• Experience with inventory accounting, preferably within a warehousing or distribution environment.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.

• Experience using cloud-based accounting software, such as Zoho Books or similar ERP/accounting systems.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Work Setup Remote

• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed

• Must work Night Shift from 10PM to 7AM PHT

• Equipment will be provided by the company
