Product Manager (BA-Driven, End-to-End Ownership)

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview
This is a high-impact Product Manager role with strong Business Analyst ownership, suited for a hands-on operator who can take full accountability from problem discovery through to delivery execution.
You will act as a key partner to the CTO, owning critical product initiatives across the business. This role requires someone who can independently drive workstreams, interrogate stakeholders, define detailed requirements, and manage delivery with engineering teams.
This is not a siloed Product role. It combines:

You will be highly visible across the organisation, working closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, and will be expected to communicate at all levels with clarity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Ownership (Core Focus)
Lead end-to-end requirements discovery, working directly with stakeholders across the business
Actively challenge, refine, and define requirements, not just document them
Run discovery sessions and ask probing questions to uncover underlying business needs
Produce high-quality, structured documentation (user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria)
Translate requirements into detailed, actionable engineering tickets at the appropriate level of depth
2. End-to-End Product Delivery
Own delivery of initiatives from concept through to release
Manage backlog, prioritisation, and delivery progress within Agile frameworks
Work closely with engineering to ensure solutions are feasible, understood, and delivered effectively
Drive execution and remove blockers to ensure timely delivery
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Problem Interrogation
Engage directly with stakeholders to understand processes, workflows, and requirements
Interrogate business problems deeply to ensure solutions are well-defined and fit for purpose
Act as the bridge between business and engineering, ensuring clarity and alignment
Present progress updates and outputs to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead delivery across multiple product areas depending on business needs (e.g., Yoda platform, BMS)
Work with dynamically assigned teams based on project requirements
Coordinate engineers and stakeholders to deliver aligned outcomes
5. Communication & Visibility
Provide structured updates on delivery progress to leadership
Present ideas, requirements, and solutions clearly and confidently
Operate effectively in a high-visibility, stakeholder-facing role
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Experience
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner with a strong Business Analyst background
Proven ability to:
Gather, challenge, and define complex requirements
Translate business needs into detailed, structured technical deliverables
Strong experience working directly with engineering teams in Agile environments
Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering projects end-to-end
Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technical teams
Prior experience in hybrid roles (Product + BA + Delivery) is highly preferred
Communication Skills (Critical – Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including:
Ability to communicate confidently with:
Executive leadership
Business stakeholders (non-technical)
Engineering teams (technical discussions)
Strong presentation skills, including delivering updates and solutions to senior stakeholders
Ability to lead discussions, ask probing questions, and challenge stakeholders effectively
Proven capability to produce clear, structured, high-quality documentation
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Note: This is a highly visible role. Any gaps in communication capability will be a disqualifier.
