Promo Producer
JOB SUMMARY:
The role encompasses creative ideation and concept development based on marketing or project briefs; copywriting and scriptwriting; and close coordination with internal teams and project stakeholders throughout all stages of production—such as research, asset gathering, and offline editing—to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand promotional content.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Represents the department in internal and external meetings (face-to-face and virtual), either alongside or on behalf of Department leadership, including pre-production, alignment, and coordination meetings.
Conducts research and gathers relevant materials to support promo development, including program synopses, publicity articles, reports, and manuscripts.
Previews and evaluates program materials to identify key promotional angles and storytelling opportunities.
Monitors competitor programs and promotional strategies for critical analysis, benchmarking, and strategic counteraction.
Leads creative ideation, concept development, and overall promotional direction across assigned projects.
Writes scripts for plugs and promotional materials, as well as copy for AVPs, print ads, OOH materials, and art cards.
Actively participates in asset-gathering activities, including facilitating spiels, conducting interviews, overseeing promo and MOS shoots, and managing background engagement during on-ground events.
Coordinates with voice-over talent by providing scripts with clear creative and technical instructions; reviews and evaluates submitted voice tracks for quality and compliance.
Assists in creating initial offline edits of promotional plugs to establish creative flow and structure.
Works closely with project stakeholders and internal teams—including Promo Producers, Production Coordinators, Graphic Artists, and Editors—to ensure all promotional materials align with project objectives, brand guidelines, and technical standards, and are completed and delivered within approved timelines.
Supports the Promo Production Supervisor/Department Head in proactively identifying, addressing, and resolving production-related issues or concerns to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of promotional materials.
EDUCATION
Graduate of Mass Communication, Creative Writing or its equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
At least 6 months equivalent work experience doing scriptwriting and copywriting in a post-production company, advertising agency, or a broadcast network.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 applications.
Practical knowledge of video editing application.
Internet and digital platform savvy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented: Diligent in conducting work to ensure project completion.
