Design Engineer
Key Task Responsibilities
§ Has leadership qualities to step up when lead design engineer is out of office
§ Has intuitive thinking to make decision when making design
§ Has analytical thinking to solve problems during design proper
§ Has knowledge on design and can interpretation of drawings
§ Must have good communication skills to conduct meeting & email with customer and co designers
§ Must be a good team player to create a harmony within the team
§ Must have emotional intelligence to cope this stress and pressure
§ Can delegate load / task to CAD operator to meet deadlines
§ Conduct customer visit with Sales for new projects to achieve an optimized concept design
§ Conducts one-on-one telecon or meetings with Customer as needed
§ Support Quality Assurance Team in closing Customer/Production issues due to design
§ Develop improvement plan to address design flaw escapes
