CCTV OPERATOR and SECURITY GUARD

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard and CCTV Operator to join the security team at ALERT SECURITY AND INVESTIOGATION AGENCY INC. This is a full-time position based in Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems and maintaining physical security across our properties. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets by combining technical monitoring expertise with on-site security presence. This position is integral to our commitment to maintaining a secure environment and protecting our valuable operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor CCTV camera systems throughout assigned areas, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time

2. Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other security violations

3. Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports, documenting all observations, incidents, and actions taken during shifts

4. Control and manage access points, including verifying identification, managing visitor entry and exit procedures, and maintaining access records

5. Respond promptly to security alerts and alarms, investigating incidents and escalating to management when necessary

6. Perform routine checks on security equipment to ensure all systems are functioning properly and report any malfunctions

7. Communicate effectively with emergency services, management, and other team members regarding security incidents

8. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, upholding company security policies and procedures at all times

9. Assist in training new security personnel on surveillance systems and security protocols as required

What we're looking for

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification and Valid security guard license is required.

2. Proven experience as a CCTV operator, security guard, or similar security role in a professional environment

3. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and security monitoring procedures

4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel

5. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure in emergency situation.

6. Strong time management skills and the ability to maintain focus during extended periods of monitoring

7. Reliability and integrity, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

8. Familiarity with access control systems and incident documentation procedures is preferred.
