Business Development Associate
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads, converting interest into opportunities. You’ll connect with business owners, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right payment solutions. If you’re a natural communicator who loves solving problems and building trust, we’d love to meet you.
💻 What you’ll be doing
● Manage and convert inbound leads from various channels (website, campaigns, referrals, and partnerships)
● Research potential leads to assess their suitability and alignment with our products
● Utilize cold-calling and outreach methods to qualify leads and close sales by sending self-signup links and confirming verbal sign-ups
● Follow up with prospects via calls, messages, or emails to guide them through registration, KYM, and onboarding
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and communications in the CRM system
● Gather insights and feedback from merchants to improve lead generation and conversion efficiency
● Support Business Development-related work such as research projects and upselling as needed
● Become an important person in expanding Beam’s merchant base and growing usage
🚩 Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
● 1-3 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles (B2B or fintech preferred)
● Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
● Highly organized and capable of managing multiple leads simultaneously
● Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
● Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
