SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ( CFO ASSISTANT)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to own the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. This role is critical for maintaining our financial integrity and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvements and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate is not just a number-cruncher but a analytical thinker who understands the "why" behind the numbers.

Willing to work and base in DONGGUAN CHINA

A Master's degree in Accounting is required for this position.

Relocation to Dongguan, China is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Objectives of this role

· Take responsibility (either directly or via staff) for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company's financial strategy and hiring needs

Experience with major accounting software systems is essential for effective financial management and reporting.

· Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same

· Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization

· Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organisation that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows

· Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
