HR Specialist - Employee Engagement

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Specialist – Employee Relations & Engagement who can champion employee engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor standards.

What You'll Do
Employee Engagement & Culture
Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement programs, events, and activities for both onsite and remote employees.
Develop monthly engagement calendars and activity plans.
Create concept papers, proposals, and implementation plans for engagement initiatives.
Manage budgets, sourcing, and coordination with vendors, suppliers, and event partners.
Lead creative programs such as team-building activities, outreach programs, mini carnivals, and other employee-focused initiatives.
Measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance employee participation and satisfaction.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Handle employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
Prepare and issue disciplinary documents, including Notices to Explain (NTEs), Notices of Decision (NODs), and related correspondence.
Facilitate administrative hearings and ensure due process throughout disciplinary proceedings.
Partner with department leaders and managers in resolving employee relations cases.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and government reporting requirements.
Coordinate with legal counsel on labor-related concerns, disputes, and policy interpretation.
Communication & Policy Reinforcement
Create engaging communication materials, announcements, email campaigns, and promotional content for HR initiatives.
Conduct HR Toolbox sessions and employee awareness programs related to company policies and the Code of Conduct.
Support policy rollouts, ethics campaigns, and compliance initiatives.
Promote a culture of accountability, fairness, and workplace professionalism.
Global HR Support
Provide engagement and employee relations support for international teams, including India and South Africa.
Assist with engagement planning, budget preparation, implementation timelines, and post-activity evaluations.
Monitor and support employee feedback channels, ensuring concerns and suggestions are appropriately addressed and escalated.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Legal Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, HR Operations, or a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to balance employee advocacy with policy compliance.
Creative mindset with a passion for fostering an engaging workplace culture.
