OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring a QA Automation Lead for a technology-driven organization focused on delivering high-quality digital platforms and applications.

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA professional with solid experience in software testing, automation support, and quality assurance processes. This role is ideal for candidates who can help strengthen testing practices, support automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with development teams to improve product quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities

• Assist in maintaining and improving QA testing processes and automation initiatives

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and technical teams to validate system requirements and application functionality

• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and test results accurately

• Participate in test planning, test case creation, and quality reviews

• Support automation testing efforts using existing tools and frameworks

• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with teams for issue resolution

• Help ensure applications meet quality, usability, and performance standards

• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the QA function

• Maintain proper testing documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

• At least 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Automation Testing roles

• Experience with web application testing and system validation processes

• Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting or automation concepts is an advantage

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work collaboratively within cross-functional technical teams

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and QA practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automation testing initiatives or framework support

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments

• Understanding of API testing, database validation, or performance testing is an advantage

• Knowledge of security testing concepts is a plus
