Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting tasks and work independently after onboarding.

The position requires willingness to work the night shift and strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Shopify-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records using QuickBooks

• Handle full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification and compliance with accounting standards

• Reconcile Shopify transactions and accurately integrate them into the accounting system

• Maintain organized financial documentation and support basic financial reporting

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)

• Solid understanding of AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and journal entries

• Experience working with Shopify or eCommerce platforms and reconciling related transactions

• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information with discretion

• Working knowledge of accounting principles and basic financial regulations

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Willing and able to work night shift
