DIGITAL MERCHANDISER & SHOPIFY SPECIALIST
The Digital Merchandiser & Shopify Specialist oversees the day-to-day management of K & Company’s ecommerce platform, ensuring that the website remains visually aligned, operationally efficient, and optimized for both customer experience and online sales performance. Working closely with the Retail Manager, this role helps ensure that product availability, website merchandising, and ecommerce operations are effectively executed across all online customer touchpoints.
The Digital Merchandiser & Shopify Specialist plays a key role in managing website content, digital merchandising, inventory coordination, online order fulfillment, and ecommerce performance monitoring. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager and collaborating with the Production and Marketing teams, this position serves as the bridge between retail operations and the online customer experience while maintaining alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
This role is designed to build expertise in ecommerce management, digital merchandising, retail operations, and omnichannel customer experience while supporting the continued growth of K & Company's online business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Website Management & Digital Merchandising
● Manage the Shopify website, ensuring products, collections, content, and customer-facing information are accurate, updated, and aligned with brand standards.
● Execute product uploads, website merchandising, homepage updates, seasonal refreshes, promotional content, and ecommerce newsletters.
● Optimize website navigation, product discovery, and overall user experience to improve engagement and conversion.
● Monitor website performance and recommend enhancements to support ecommerce growth.
2.Ecommerce Operations & Inventory Management
● Oversee online order processing, inventory updates, and ecommerce backend operations.
● Coordinate with branches and internal teams to ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
● Monitor product performance, stock movement, and availability to support merchandising and sales objectives.
● Ensure a seamless customer experience across all ecommerce touchpoints.
3.Reporting & Performance Monitoring
● Prepare monthly reports on website performance, online sales, customer behavior, and product performance.
● Track key ecommerce metrics, operational concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
● Maintain accurate records of inventory, website assets, product uploads, and ecommerce documentation.
● Provide recommendations to improve website effectiveness, customer experience, and online sales performance.
4.Cross-Department Collaboration
● Partner with the Marketing team to support campaigns, promotions, and product launches on the website.
● Collaborate with the Creative team to ensure website visuals and content align with brand standards.
● Coordinate with Retail, Production, and Operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy and support omnichannel initiatives.
● Support the continuous growth and optimization of K & Company's ecommerce business
