PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s procurement and
inventory management operations. This role ensures timely sourcing of quality materials,
supplies, equipment, and services while maintaining cost efficiency, proper inventory control,
and compliance with company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan and implement sourcing strategies for hotel operations, construction, and furnishing
needs.
• Develop and enforce procurement policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Control costs and align procurement with project and operational budgets.
• Oversee daily purchasing activities, from requisition to delivery.
• Support project-based procurement for refurbishments, fit-outs, and construction.
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain proper stock levels.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, stock counts, and reconciliation.
• Oversee inventory replenishment to avoid stock shortages and overstocking.
• Implement inventory control procedures and proper storage practices.
• Prepare inventory reports and monitor stock movement trends for forecasting and planning.
• Ensure accurate documentation and readiness for audits.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team while working closely with other departments.
• Validate product specifications and resolve quality issues.
• Identify process improvements to shorten turnaround times.
• Prepare contingency plans and manage urgent sourcing needs during disruptions.
