Job Summary
The Breeder Farm Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the breeder farm, ensuring optimal flock productivity, animal welfare, and compliance with biosecurity and company standards. This role includes managing farm personnel, coordinating daily farm activities, and implementing strategic plans to achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality breeder stock.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related course
Licensed or certified in poultry farm management is an advantage
Minimum 2 years of experience in breeder farm or commercial poultry operations
Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
In-depth knowledge of breeder flock management, feed programs, vaccination schedules, and biosecurity
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other farm departments
Willingness to stay on-site at the farm
