Fashion Designer (Kids Apparel)
We are seeking a visionary and innovative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you won't just draw sketches; you will be the architect of style across multiple platforms and mediums. From the initial spark of on idea to the final product on the rack, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring compelling, user-centric designs to life.
As a core member of our design house, your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of a collection:
Develop innovative design concepts aligned with seasonal themes and brand direction.
Research fashion trends, color palettes, fabrics, and silhouettes.
Create sketches, digital illustrations, and design presentations.
Produce CAD designs and support technical pack development.
Collaborate with graphic artists on printts, embellishments, and artworks.
Ensure alignment of designs with cultural themes and brand standards.
Work closely with R&D, sample makers, and pattern makers for product execution.
Assist in fittings and provide feedback to improve garment construction and fit.
Preare and manage technical packs and garment specifications.
Participate in design meetings, stylish discussions, and cost optimization reviews.
Support document such as AAG (At a Glance), copyright forms, and design records.
Job Qualifications:
A degree in fashion design or a related field.
Proven experience as a Designer in the fashion industry.
Experience in designing children's clothing, either locally or internationally, is an advantage.
Strong understanding of current fashion trends and forecasting.
Excellent design skills wth profeciency in design software (e.g., Adobe lllustrator, Photoshop).
Knowledge of pattern-making and garment construction.
Ability to translate trends into comercially viable and market-relevant designs.
Strong eye for detail and keen sense of style.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
