Key Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and development of new construction chemical products and infrastructure solutions

• Translate customer and market needs into viable technical product concepts

• Design and execute experimental programs for product testing and validation

• Ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

• Conduct competitive benchmarking across relevant product categories

• Identify gaps, opportunities, and differentiation strategies

• Identify emerging materials, technologies, and innovation trends

• Evaluate potential applications for business adoption

• Support scale-up from laboratory development to pilot and commercial production

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams during launches

• Engage directly with customers to understand technical challenges

• Develop tailored, field-ready technical solutions

• Develop proprietary formulations, processes, and technical innovations

• Ensure proper documentation of institutional know-how and potential IP

• Manage relationships with raw material suppliers and technology partners

• Evaluate technical capability, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related technical field;

• Strong background in construction chemicals, infrastructure materials, or industrial manufacturing preferred

• With experience in product development from concept through testing, scale-up, and commercialization is preferred

• Strong technical capability in formulation, experimental design, testing, and root cause analysis

• Ability to translate customer needs and market insights into viable product solutions

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, manufacturing, and customers)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution mindset with commercial awareness
