Our client is a major European Embassy in Bangkok who has long been delivering a dynamic expanding program of activity in support of the country’s objectives on various subjects for almost a century in Thailand. At present, they are seeking a temporary Chef to provide catering support for official functions hosted by the Ambassador.

PART-TIME CHEF – EUROPEA

The sought-after candidate will provide catering support for official functions hosted by the Ambassador. This is an on-call, part-time role with work scheduled based on event requirements. The role involves food preparation, event catering support, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. This will include the following duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present meals for official Embassy events, functions, and receptions.

• Contribute to menu development and assist with meal preparation and plating.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

• Assist with event logistics, including setup, service support, and post-event cleaning activities.

• Work closely with Embassy staff and temporary catering teams to ensure smooth event execution.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in professional cooking, hospitality, or event catering.

• Good understanding and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.

• Flexible to work on evenings, weekends, and ad hoc assignments, which are typically communicated approximately one week in advance.

• Professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills.

• Excellent time management, task prioritization, and coordination skills.

• Able to Speak Thai and English.
