Technical Writer
The Technical Writer provides comprehensive documentation support to the Quality Assurance and Technology Office (QATO). The role ensures the development, maintenance, and standardization of institutional documents, manuals, reports, and quality records aligned with CHED, PACUCOA, ISO 21001:2018 EOMS, AUN-QA, and other accreditation requirements. The Technical Writer transforms technical and accreditation-related information into clear, accurate, and accessible materials that support institutional quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing, Education, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields. Master’s degree or units in Quality Assurance or Educational Management (preferred).
Required Professional Licenses, Certification, and Regulation:
Certification in ISO 21001:2018 Internal Audit or Document Control (preferred). Training in Technical Writing, Quality Assurance, or Accreditation Documentation (advantageous).
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in academic documentation, quality assurance, or technical writing. Experience in higher education or accreditation documentation (CHED, PACUCOA, and AUN-QA) preferred.
