Insurance Partnership and Product Expansion Head
A. Product Management
1. Oversees the overall product cycle from conceptualization, pilot testing, and validation of initial results (performance, volume, profitability, client reception, etc.).
2. Plans profitability targets for product categories. Collaborates with Sales Team for developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and maximizing sales channels.
3. Leads periodic product performance review and utilizes data analytics. Monitors irregular transactions that need investigation for possible fraud activities.
4. Develops the product training materials and communication strategies. Oversees the implementation of these programs.
5. Collaborates with IMCG for the formulation and launch of marketing and promotion campaigns.
6. Designs the product content of customer feedback survey. Reviews the result of the survey and analyzes impact of results to product performance and target business growth.
7. Responds to escalated concerns about technical product issues.
B. Partnership Management
1. Negotiates with insurance companies on new or renewal insurance package and coverage to offer to clients and distribution channels.
2. Holds regular business analysis and reviews with insurers to update status of product and client servicing.
3. Reviews Service Contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of internal and external partners.
C. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
1. Develops the required product policies (e.g., insurance policy criteria, pricing and discount policies, approval matrix, etc.), in collaboration with relevant units.
2. Drafts the operating policies and procedures. Supervises the implementation and adherence especially to regulatory requirements. Recommends corrective/preventive actions to address non-compliance.
3. Adheres to all reportorial requirements by Insurance Commission, partner insurance companies, and other regulatory bodies to avoid non-compliance and penalties.
4. Addresses insurance regulators’ and Audit’s findings, if any.
E. Management Leadership
1. Recommends plans, programs, budget, and performance targets of the department.
2. Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities in the department to reach maximum level of employee productivity throughout the workforce.
3. Provides upfront leadership in supervising all direct and indirect reports and planning for their career advancement and aspirations.
4. Supervises and evaluates the performance of all direct reports.
5. Approves/schedules all vacation leaves of all direct reports.
