ACCOUNTING OFFICER

About the role

Kings Group is seeking a dedicated Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in our Paranaque City office. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our thriving business.

What you'll be doing

·       Month-end close process including various account reconciliations, account allocations and review of all accounting transactions, gather and consolidate data

·       Balance sheet entries posted monthly to ensure all line items match with relevant schedules (eg prepayments, prepaid supplies, workcover clearing)

·       Review monthly movements across the business and make the relevant manual journal entries to match

·       Assist with the monthly P&L review to identify any anomalies and correct where required

·       Review tracking coding for all transactions to ensure data accuracy focus on the Branch data allocation (eg GL code/Division)

·       Review assigned tax codes across the system

·       Maintenance of Xero financial reporting database, including the Chart of Accounts

·       Credit card liquidation and mailbox clearing

·       Accounts payable processing including batch payments and daily bank reconciliation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a similar role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls

• Knowledgable in General Ledger Account Reconciliation

• With basic knowledge of Xero Accounting Software

• Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial analysis tools
