About the role

Hospitality Resources Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hotel Nurse to join our team at our facility in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff. As Hotel Nurse, you will be the primary healthcare provider on-site, delivering medical care and health services to maintain the highest standards of guest comfort and safety. This position is essential to our operations, bridging the gap between hospitality excellence and professional healthcare delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care and first aid assistance to guests and staff members experiencing health concerns or emergencies

• Maintain a well-stocked medical clinic within the hotel, ensuring all supplies, medications and equipment are properly stored, organised and regularly replenished

• Conduct health assessments and administer basic medical treatments to address common ailments such as headaches, minor injuries, gastrointestinal issues and fever

• Refer guests and staff to external healthcare facilities when necessary, providing appropriate guidance and documentation

• Maintain detailed and confidential health records for all individuals seeking medical assistance

• Monitor guest health and wellbeing during their stay, conducting wellness checks as needed

• Collaborate with hotel management and staff to develop and implement health and safety protocols

• Educate guests and staff on health prevention, hygiene practices and wellness initiatives

• Respond to health emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when required

• Maintain professional standards of practice and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines

What we're looking for

• Current and valid nursing license recognized in the Philippines (BSN Degree in Nursing) a plus but not mandatory

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute care, emergency care or hospitality settings

• Strong knowledge of basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), with current certifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds

• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgements in varied situations

• Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Physical stamina to perform duties that may require standing for extended periods

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of common pharmaceutical products and their contraindications

• Experience in a hotel, resort or healthcare facility management environment would be advantageous
