Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical)

 

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Engineer (Electrical) to oversee electrical engineering projects from planning to commissioning. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical plans, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, supervising project execution, and ensuring all electrical works are completed according to approved plans, specifications, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review electrical plans and designs for plant and construction projects.

  • Prepare project schedules, methodologies, and Gantt charts for electrical works.

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and foreign technicians regarding project requirements and implementation.

  • Supervise electrical installation, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.

  • Monitor project progress, costs, and compliance with approved plans and safety standards.

  • Prepare weekly project status reports and provide updates to management.

  • Evaluate technical proposals and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and secure necessary electrical permits.

  • Support production and operations teams during project commissioning and initial operation.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is required.

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in construction projects, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or plant maintenance.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.

  • Strong project management, planning, and coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Willing to conduct fieldwork and project site visits.
