General Accountant (Open for Fresh Graduates)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing regular bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

This role will also support the completion of external audit requirements, assist in resolving audit backlogs, and contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and demonstrates the highest level of integrity in handling financial data.

You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash transactions and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain and update accounting records and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decisions.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and provide audit support.

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and record management standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (BSA)

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, with proven skill in bank reconciliation, but fresh graduates are open to apply.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)

• Experience with any recognised accounting software system is acceptable for this position

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• High level of integrity and confidentiality in managing financial information

• Experience in bookkeeping and general accounting operations
