Job Summary
The Team Lead – Legal Operations leads day-to-day legal operations and paralegal support services to ensure timely, accurate and high-quality legal service delivery. Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role provides hands-on leadership, supports U.S.-based legal teams and drives consistency, scalability and continuous improvement across legal processes and systems.
What you’ll do
Lead, coach and develop a team of Legal Operations and Legal Analyst professionals to drive performance, engagement and service quality
Act as the primary escalation point for complex, high-risk or non-standard legal and operational matters
Collaborate with U.S.-based legal teams to align priorities, service expectations and quality standards
Execute legal operations strategies focused on process improvement, technology adoption and reporting effectiveness
Monitor team performance using key performance indicators, service level agreements and dashboards to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Oversee daily intake, workflow management and prioritization of legal requests to meet turnaround time and accuracy targets
Provide hands-on support by performing legal operations and paralegal work during peak periods, staffing gaps or critical initiatives
Support and expand paralegal service capabilities across U.S. and local market teams
Lead or contribute to special initiatives such as system implementations, cost optimization and operational enhancements
Complete twelve hours of continuing legal education or relevant professional development annually
What you’ll need
Experience
Five or more years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or corporate or shared services environment required
Experience supporting healthcare legal operations required
Experience leading teams or serving in a supervisory or team lead capacity required
Experience supporting supply chain or commercial contracts preferred
Experience supporting U.S.-based legal teams or global shared services environments preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Management or a related field required
Certifications
Paralegal Certificate preferred
