About the role

Everblue Development and Construction Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Geodetic Engineer to join our surveying team in Currimao, Ilocos Norte. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and surveys of land, utilizing advanced geodetic technology and methodologies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of survey data that underpins our construction and development projects. This position is integral to maintaining the highest standards of precision in our surveying operations and supporting the successful delivery of our construction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct geodetic surveys and measurements using advanced surveying equipment and technology, including GPS, total stations and laser scanners

2. Establish and maintain survey control networks and benchmarks for construction and development projects

3. Collect, process and analyse survey data to produce accurate topographic maps, site plans and technical drawings

4. Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on all surveying work to ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards

5. Coordinate and collaborate with construction teams, architects and engineers to provide surveying support throughout project phases

6. Prepare detailed survey reports, documentation and technical specifications for project stakeholders

7. Monitor and verify construction work against approved survey plans and specifications

8. Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance

9. Identify and resolve surveying challenges and discrepancies on construction sites

10. Stay current with advancements in geodetic technology and surveying best practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering

2. Professional licensure as a Geodetic Engineer or equivalent qualification recognised in the Philippines

3. Minimum of 0-1 year of professional experience in geodetic surveying and land surveying

4. Advanced proficiency with geodetic survey equipment, including GPS systems, total stations, theodolites and drone-based surveying technology

5. Strong expertise in survey data processing software and computer-aided design (CAD) applications

6. Comprehensive knowledge of geodetic principles, coordinate systems and survey methodology

7. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

8. Strong communication and report writing abilities

9. Experience working on construction projects and familiarity with construction site environments

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

11. Preferably, experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and advanced surveying software
