Accounting Analyst I (Project-based) | Open to Fresh Graduates

Job Summary

The Accounting Analyst I is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual royalty payouts. Ensures royalty adjustments and payment requests are processed in accordance with contract terms and department deadlines.

Accountabilities:

The Accounting Analyst I is responsible for the following:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual royalty payouts, ensuring author statements are processed in a timely manner.

• Load royalty adjustments, corrections, and payment changes accurately and within established deadlines.

• Review and process advance payment requests, confirming that contracts have been loaded and that requested amounts are within authorized contract limits.

• Respond to author, business unit, phone, and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

• Distribute department reports and ensure titles with revenue above the established threshold are assigned to analysts for review and completion.

• Maintain accurate royalty records and support department processes related to payment tracking, reporting, and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, clarify contract or payment details, and support timely royalty processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or any related accounting course.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payables or Procure-to-Pay is an advantage

• Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Good English communication skills

• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
