Accounting Analyst I (Project-based) | Open to Fresh Graduates
Job Summary
The Accounting Analyst I is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual royalty payouts. Ensures royalty adjustments and payment requests are processed in accordance with contract terms and department deadlines.
Accountabilities:
The Accounting Analyst I is responsible for the following:
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual royalty payouts, ensuring author statements are processed in a timely manner.
Load royalty adjustments, corrections, and payment changes accurately and within established deadlines.
Review and process advance payment requests, confirming that contracts have been loaded and that requested amounts are within authorized contract limits.
Respond to author, business unit, phone, and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Distribute department reports and ensure titles with revenue above the established threshold are assigned to analysts for review and completion.
Maintain accurate royalty records and support department processes related to payment tracking, reporting, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, clarify contract or payment details, and support timely royalty processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or any related accounting course.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payables or Procure-to-Pay is an advantage
Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Good English communication skills
Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
