Procurement Associate (Temporary Remote – Philippines)
About the Role
Seagull Global Solutions OPC is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Procurement Associate to support our clients' purchasing and vendor management operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are organized, proactive, and capable of working in a remote environment while ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement processes.
You will play a key role in sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement documentation for our international operations.
Key Responsibilities
Source and identify suppliers and service providers based on project requirements
Prepare and manage requests for quotation (RFQs) and quotation comparisons
Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) and goods received notes (GRN)
Monitor and follow up on order status and deliveries
Ensure invoices are submitted to finance upon delivery of orders.
Maintain and update supplier database and records
Assist in vendor accreditation and documentation requirements
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping of procurement transactions
Coordinate with internal teams for procurement requirements and updates
Support ad hoc procurement and administrative tasks as required
Minimum of 6 months procurement experience is required to support these procurement responsibilities effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or any related field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles is an advantage
Skills & Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong negotiation and coordination skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup
Must have reliable internet connection and backup for power interruptions
Must be willing to attend onsite training or meetings if required
