Merchandising Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
The Merchandising Assistant oversees data system operation, develops systems and procedures for data management, and is in charge of the inventory and overall brand management of the physical stores. As a conduit of logistics to the merchandising team, their responsibilities include collection and management of significant product and shipment information to ensure data efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipment and New Item Management:
Collection and management of shipment information and status.
Creation and tracking of Purchase Order (PO) and Transfer Listing (TL.)
Product Data management: SKU Creation, Pricing Management
Assists Merchandising Team on Proposed Pricing List (PPL) creation.
Close collaboration with the Logistics Department on ensuring accurate billing of the warehouse partner.
Product and System Governance:
Inventory and sales monitoring.
Ensures on-time effectiveness of price adjustment.
Identify functional specifications required for solution development activities.
Provide solution support for improvement of data management.
Lead change and risk management activities related to improved system data management.
Manage and maintain system accuracy of online business platforms.
Ensure accurate pricing list of all items.
Assist client’s inquiries related to product availability and specifications.
People Management and Relations:
Assists Merchandising Team on generating significant data for Executive Meeting and other reports.
Oversees that the team’s system and process remain effective and efficient in providing solutions to the various and developing demands of the business unit.
Ensures the continuous professional development of team members.
Collaboration with other department to ensure merchandising related tasks are well executed on a timely manner.
Assist and schedule product training sessions for store operations
Request office supplies and equipment.
Process payment of supplies.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
with Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Office Administration and or other relevant courses
Work Experience
Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in Merchandising.

Inventory Management
Analytical Skills
Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Knowledgeable in JDA System
