Job summary
The Registered Nurse Care Coordination Specialist supports U.S.-based infusion and oncology services by removing barriers to patient access and ensuring timely, appropriate care. Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role reviews clinical cases, evaluates payer requirements and coordinates with interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery, authorization outcomes and patient experience.
What you’ll do
• Review patient clinical cases and payer medical policies to assess coverage requirements and restrictions
• Analyze payer denials and restrictions to determine appeal eligibility and recommended next steps
• Coordinate with U.S.-based providers, infusion centers and revenue cycle teams to align clinical care and authorization workflows
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support effective communication and continuity of care
• Identify and resolve barriers to patient access for infusion and specialty therapies
• Track and document care coordination activities, interventions and outcomes to support quality and process improvement
• Provide clinical input and documentation support for payer appeals and reconsiderations
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, clinical standards and organizational policies
• Advocate for patients to promote timely access to medically necessary treatments
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance care coordination, access and patient satisfaction

What you’ll need
Experience
• At least 1 year of experience in oncology, infusion services, dialysis, pain management or a related clinical setting required
• Experience in care coordination, infusion authorization, patient navigation or healthcare business process outsourcing preferred
Education
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
Licensure and certifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) – Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Republic of the Philippines required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation preferred
Skills and knowledge
• Clinical case review and interpretation of medical policies
• Knowledge of payer authorization and appeal processes
• Strong care coordination and patient advocacy skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work with U.S. healthcare providers and payers in a remote support environment
