PRODUCTION OPERATOR 4

JOB DESCRIPTION:

a. Handle the operations of Bulk Loading Control Sifters, Bellow Jets, and other Bulk Loading equipment efficiently and promptly address any issues that arise.

b. Complete the checklists provided for Bulk Loading.

c. Continuously observe Bulk Loading Control Sifters, Bellow Jets, and other Bulk Loading equipment condition and operational parameters.

d. Perform comprehensive Bellow Jet inspection.

e. Perform size-up of Bulk Loading Bins.

f. Perform Bulk Loading magnet verification and Flour Sieving activity.

g. Ensure stable and smooth Bulk Loading operations.

h. May be assigned to 25-kg, 1-kg, and Bran Bagging, or any Special Bagging Operations whenever required.

i. Prepare sieve assembly as necessary and perform Control Sifter modifications as guided by the Production Supervisor.

j. Coordinate with the maintenance group regarding plant shutdown or machine breakdown.

a. Report any unusual events or operational situations to the Production Supervisor and provide recommendations and suggestions for improvement.

b. Personally oversee the maintenance of good sanitation, personal hygiene, and pest control activities within the Packaging Section.

c. Ensure the implementation of 5S, GMP, food safety, and safety practices in the workplace.

d. Execute other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor and Head Miller.

QUALIFICATIONS:

a. College Graduate, or any Technical/ Vocational course with 3-4 years of experience in Industrial Bagging, Sewing Machine Operations, and Bulk Loading Operations

b. Can handle various electrical and mechanical tools, exhibits color discrimination when examining stocks and materials.

c. Finger dexterity to feel products, verify texture and consistency.

d. Can work in a heated and dusty environment with the capacity to work near machines that generate noise.

e. Possessed skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosis, able to handle medium to heavy lifting tasks, and comfortable working at high building.

f. Capable of providing feedback, ideas, and suggestions when requested, and proficient in communicating effectively throughout all organizational levels.

g. With demonstrated ability to implement best practices and tools to improve processes.

h. With demonstrated ability to comply with MIMI’s occupational safety rules especially wearing of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in production area, and influence others to do so.

i. With ability to work in rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, where necessary.

j. With ability to work a continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
