Admissions Officer (Australian RTO)
About the role
As an Admissions Officer (RTO) at the Alana Kaye Group, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our thriving education and training business. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the entire admissions process, from inquiry to enrolment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students.
What you'll be doing
Proactively engage with and respond to enquiries from prospective students and their families, providing them with comprehensive information about our courses and campus
Responsible for managing and processing student admissions and enrolments, including guiding applicants through all required steps, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with relevant requirements.
Conduct student assessments and interviews to determine their suitability for our programs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and enrolment data
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective student recruitment strategies
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies
Provide exceptional customer service and support to both prospective and current students
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of proven experience in student admissions within an Australian education institution or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) — this is an essential requirement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a high level of customer service
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Familiarity with educational institutions and the admissions process, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Basic awareness of Australian RTO compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to manage student records and data
Proficiency in Student Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant systems for managing student information
A passion for education and a desire to contribute to the success of our students
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
