Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance

Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures the integrity of financial data while supporting decision-making through timely and insightful reporting. In addition, the position oversees tax-related functions, including analyzing tax data, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, preparing tax filings, and providing strategic tax planning to optimize the organization’s tax position.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management reports

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, supporting schedules, and financial records

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements

  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements

  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all tax regulations and reporting deadlines

  • Analyze tax data and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency

  • Support tax audits, external audits, and regulatory reviews

  • Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards and assess their impact on the business

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations) to ensure accurate data reporting and compliance


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or tax compliance

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
