About the role
Markenburg International Foods Corp. is seeking a dynamic and innovative Research and Development Staff to join our team in Marilao Bulacan. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and improvement of our food products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your creativity and technical expertise will be instrumental in keeping Markenburg at the forefront of the industry.
What you'll be doing
Develop and test new food products, formulations, and recipes
Improve existing products by optimising ingredients, processes, and packaging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to ensure seamless product development
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in food technology and safety
Document and present research findings to key stakeholders
Provide technical support and training to the production team
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a research and development role within the food industry
Strong understanding of food science principles, including food chemistry, microbiology, and sensory evaluation
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and analytical software
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
