You will be engaged through us and deployed directly to the client's technology team in Manila, contributing to enterprise-level data platform work that supports their organizational mission at a global scale.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the client's technology team. You will take a leading role in designing, building, and optimizing their enterprise data platform — building the infrastructure that enables advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This is a hands-on technical role with real ownership. You will work alongside product, business, and engineering stakeholders, and your work will directly support the organization's strategic priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

·        Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines and data lake/warehouse architectures

·        Optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments (Azure)

·        Lead the adoption of modern data engineering tools and frameworks — Databricks, Azure Data Factory

·        Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance and reliability

·        Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into meaningful solutions

·        Prepare high-level and detailed technical designs for data solutions

·        Apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment including CI/CD pipelines

·        Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum and Kanban)

·        Stay current on analytics engineering trends and drive continuous improvement

·        Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education

·        Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

Experience

·        At least 5 years of experience in a platform engineering or software engineering role

·        At least 5 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of integrated systems

·        Proven experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms

·        Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)

·        Proven experience developing microservices for data integration using TypeScript or Python

·        Familiarity with Databricks and modern data warehousing solutions

·        Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)

·        Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

·        Experience working in teams of five or more members

Preferred / Advantage

·        Experience with Azure DevOps

·        Experience with Azure Cloud Services and CI/CD pipelines

·        Certifications in Secure Coding, Scrum, or DevOps
