Financial Translator (HK$22K-HK$26K; Fully Remote; 5 Day)

Our client is a translation house in Hong Kong and they are now looking for a Translator to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Translate financial documents such as IPO prospectuses, shareholders’ circulars, annual and interim reports and associated press announcements, legal documents such as contracts and agreements, or commercial documents from Chinese to English and vice versa

• Provide quality checks and proofreading on translated documents

• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific translation needs, preferences, and deadlines.

• Any other duties as delegated by the Company

 Requirements :

• University graduate majoring in Translation or related disciplines

• 1-3 year of relevant translation experience in financial, legal or related industry

• Excellent command of both written English and Chinese

• Energetic, self-disciplined and resulted-oriented team player

• Good communication skills, multi-tasking and good time-management

• Flexibility to work overtime to meet tight deadlines

• Willing to take shift duty

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Translator
