HR - Business Partner

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to business leaders across Resorts, Logistics, Property Management, and Port Operations. The role is responsible for aligning human resources strategies with business objectives while ensuring effective workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, talent management, compliance, and operational excellence.

The HRBP will support diverse business units with varying workforce requirements, including operational staff, administrative employees, technical personnel, and management teams.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational structure, succession planning, and talent development.

  • Support business transformation, culture-building initiatives, and change management programs.

  • Analyze workforce metrics and HR data to support informed business decisions.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and recruitment strategies.

  • Ensure timely hiring of qualified employees across operational and corporate functions.

  • Support employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives for hard-to-fill operational roles.

Employee Relations & Labor Management

  • Manage employee relations concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

  • Foster a positive employee experience and healthy workplace culture.

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on labor-related matters when necessary.

Performance Management

  • Drive performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and development planning.

  • Guide leaders in managing employee performance and accountability.

  • Support implementation of recognition and employee engagement initiatives.

Learning & Organizational Development

  • Identify training and development needs across business units.

  • Facilitate leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

  • Support organizational effectiveness and capability-building programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Partner with Compensation and Benefits teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

  • Support salary reviews, promotions, incentive programs, and workforce budgeting.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented across all business units.

  • Monitor compliance with occupational safety, labor standards, and company governance requirements.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5–8 years HR experience, preferably supporting multi-industry or operational environments.

  • Experience in resorts/hospitality, logistics, property management, or port operations is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple business units and fast-paced operational environments.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
