Sales Agronomist and Service

PSS Ag, a leading agricultural solutions provider, and distributor of Precision Planting products is actively seeking a passionate individual with a strong Agronomic background to join our team in Emerald, QLD.

 About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Agronomist and Service with a strong agronomic background to provide expert advice and support to farmers. In this role, you will:

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers in the region.

·         Provide expert agronomic advice to optimize crop yields & sustainability through the sale of Precision Planting.

·         Confidently present agronomic insights to farmer groups, based on solutions.

·         Identify and understand the unique needs of each farmer, offering tailored solutions.

·         Collaborate with the sales team to drive the adoption of technology-based solutions

·          Stay updated on Precision Planting by completing the Precision Planting University

·         This is a Full Time Role

 About You:

·         A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or a related field and a current Drivers Licence.

·          Proven experience in the agricultural industry, with a 2-3years experience in a similar agronomy field service and/or sales role.

·          Strong understanding of technology-based solutions in agriculture, especially with the Precision Planting brand, but not essential.

·         Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
