Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for establishing, improving, and controlling injection molding manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, production efficiency, cost optimization, and process stability. The position supports production operations through process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement activities, and implementation of best manufacturing practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts process trials and machine setup validation.

  • Establishes standard process conditions and operating procedures.

  • Improves manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

  • Provides technical support to production teams during daily operations.

  • Monitors process stability and address process abnormalities.

  • Troubleshoots molding defects and implements corrective actions.

  • Monitors product quality and process capability.

  • Reduces scrap, rejects, and rework rates.

  • Conducts root cause investigations for customer complaints and internal defects.

  • Implements preventive and corrective actions.

  • Prepare and maintain, SOPs, Process sheets, Work instructions, PFMEA, Control plans.

  • Ensures compliance with quality systems, customer requirements, and safety regulations.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related course.

  • With minimum 3 years experience in injection molding manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with plastic injection molding machines, molds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.

  • Knowledge of resin materials such as: ABS, PP, PC, Nylon (PA), POM, PET etc.
