ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & ManagementLead and manage the physical implementation and execution of electrical systems across all site locations.
Ensure all works are carried out on time, within budget, and in strict accordance with approved plans, specifications, and permits.
Conduct regular site inspections and ocular visits to monitor progress and maintain high-quality standards.
Prepare and submit regular project updates (including daily activities, weekly updates, and target deviations) to the construction manager.
Oversee the design, development, and integration of electrical systems and components for all sites.
Review, interpret, and align engineering drawings, blueprints, and layouts to ensure they are practical for field installation.
Ensure proper, organized documentation of all engineering activities, as-built drawings, and permits.
Compute precise electrical loads, material requirements, and technical specifications.
Prepare, propose, and manage accurate project budgets to prevent cost overruns.
Collaborate closely with the purchasing officer to ensure all procured electrical components meet exact specifications with a high sense of urgency.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues and system failures on-site.
Identify potential electrical risks and proactively initiate solutions, improvements, and process efficiencies.
Mentor, guide, and develop junior engineers assigned across various sites.
Foster a highly collaborative, proactive, and innovative working environment.
Guarantee total compliance with the National Building Code, Electrical Codes, and all relevant local regulatory standards.
Core Competencies & Qualifications
Technical Core: Proven expertise in execution (field installation), troubleshooting (fault-finding), estimation (material/load computations), and drawing (schematic/blueprint interpretation).
Experience: Extensive experience in multi-site project management and construction operations.
Compliance: Deep working knowledge of the National Building Code and regional electrical codes.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, urgent communication, problem-solving agility, and a collaborative mindset.
