The Role

We're seeking an energetic Client Experience Associate who thrives on building relationships and helping others succeed. This role is perfect for individuals with creative thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a flair for technology who want to provide impeccable support to small business program managers. You'll guide clients through their entire journey with EIC—from onboarding to strategy development and everything in between—helping them maximize their impact in their communities.

This is a client-facing role where you'll meet with small business program managers throughout your shift on a regular daily basis. The ideal candidate is genuinely energized by speaking with others, building meaningful relationships, and helping clients pursue their organizational goals of supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Client Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with small business program managers, serving as their primary point of contact and advocate at EIC

  • Meeting Leadership: Prepare and execute meeting agendas, lead client calls with confidence, and facilitate productive conversations that drive client success

  • Documentation Excellence: Take detailed notes during client interactions and maintain accurate records that ensure nothing falls through the cracks

  • Follow-Through: Prepare and send timely follow-up emails, action items, and resources that keep clients moving forward

  • Project Coordination: Monitor the status of client projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved

  • Internal Collaboration: Communicate client needs effectively with the broader client experience team, embodying our values of empathy and usefulness

  • Strategic Support: Help clients develop and execute strategies for their small business support programs using our AI-powered platform

  • Onboarding & Education: Guide new clients through platform implementation and help them build confidence using EIC's tools

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate client needs and address challenges before they become obstacles

  • Experience in customer success, account management, or client-facing roles

  • Background working with small business, economic development, or nonprofit organizations

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or project management tools

  • Understanding of small business support ecosystems

  • Experience with SaaS platforms or technology companies

  • Previous roles requiring extensive client communication

  • Curiosity about or experience working with AI tools in a professional setting
