Sales Supervisor (Modern Trade & Key Accounts)
REPORTS TO: SALES MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: SALES/REVENUE
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Direct and supervises a team of sales agents to drive company sales goals. Communicates company goals, safety practices and deadlines to team. Monitors team sales activities and performances. Conducts employee coaching and mentoring to improve performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training. Keeps management updated on team performance and support needed. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team/unit members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guide and assists team members to meet or exceed goals and quotas.
Supports sales manager and performs management duties.
Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly team sales activities, performance and metrics.
Conducts coaching and mentoring to improve performance of each team members.
Performs quarterly team evaluation, and suggest areas for improvement.
Supports the sales manager on setting sales reps’ territory and sales targets.
Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to help improve on sales metrics.
Understand customers and sales team needs and offer solutions and support needed.
Monitors and manages team inventory and stock, and advising management on ordering when necessary.
Helps management to recruit, hire and train new sales representatives.
Oversees team members work quality and guideline compliance, inform sales manager for team member disciplinary actions when needed.
Plans and executes team meetings and weekly 1-on-1 coaching/mentoring to sales reps.
Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.
Provides quality customer service, including interacting with top customers, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.
Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must possess the following:
Graduate of any 4-year course
With at least 3 years work experience either in sales, marketing. or business development,
With at least 2 years work experience in a leadership role (supervisory/managerial)
With proven good performance records is a plus
Experience in handling 5 or more people is a plus
Experience in FMCG is a plus
