Cashier
Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring proper cash management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately
Receive and issue receipts to customers
Handle cash register operations and maintain accurate records
Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift
Assist customers with inquiries and provide friendly service
Ensure accurate pricing and transaction details
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
Monitor and report discrepancies in cash transactions
Assist in preparing daily sales reports
Coordinate with supervisors regarding shortages or concerns
Support inventory checking and basic store operations if needed
Follow company policies and cash handling procedures
Qualifications (sample):
At least High School Graduate / Senior High School Graduate
Experience as cashier is an advantage
Basic math and computer skills
Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
Good customer service and communication skills
