HR ADMIN Assistant

An HR and Admin Assistant handles day-to-day operations by supporting both human resources and office management. Responsibilities include managing employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, processing payroll, assisting co-employees

Human Resources (HR)

  • Recruitment: Publish job postings, screen resumes, and schedule candidate interviews.

  • Onboarding: Coordinate new hire orientation, prepare onboarding packets, and process required employment paperwork.

  • Employee Records: Maintain and update physical and digital employee databases (e.g., leaves, contracts, performance reviews) in compliance with labor laws.

  • Payroll & Benefits: Assist in tracking time and attendance, calculating leaves, and administering employee benefit programs.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and complaints.

Office Administration

  • Event Coordination: Planning company outings, holiday parties, and virtual meetups to foster camaraderie and provide opportunities for employees to socialize outside of strict work parameters.

  • Recognition Programs: Administering peer-to-peer praise platforms, work anniversary celebrations, and milestone awards that ensure staff feel appreciated for their contributions.

  • Onboarding & Orientation: Guiding new hires through their first weeks by organizing welcome kits, scheduling orientation, and introducing them to team members to boost early retention.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in an HR or administrative role.

  • Discretion: High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive personal information with strict confidentiality.

  • Organization: Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.

  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
