Salesforce System Administrator | EXL MOA
The Sales Operations Analyst will support sales operations through CRM administration, data management, reporting, and analytics. Acting as the primary administrator for Salesforce.com and Pardot (Account Engagement), this role ensures data integrity, builds dashboards and reports, and optimizes sales processes through technology. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills in sales automation tools with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable system configurations and insights.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary support for Salesforce.com and the Director of Sales Operations.
Administer and maintain Pardot for marketing automation and lead management.
Configure CRM and sales technology stack to support sales processes and workflows.
Manage system integrations between Salesforce, Pardot, and other sales/marketing tools.
Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, and workflows in Salesforce.
Implement data validation rules to prevent duplicate and incomplete records.
Coordinate with marketing, sales, and business systems teams on data governance initiatives.
Conduct regular data audits and recommend improvements.
Manage data imports, exports, and mass updates.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.
Develop custom reports to support sales leadership decision-making.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Create visualizations to simplify complex data for actionable insights.
Provide reporting on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and sales productivity.
Support ad hoc reporting requests from sales leadership and executives.
Document and optimize sales processes within the CRM system.
Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency through better use of technology.
Assist in evaluating and implementing new sales tools and technologies.
Support change management initiatives related to sales systems and processes.
Conduct regular office hours or support sessions for end users.
Stay current on Salesforce and Pardot updates and new features.
Own Salesforce configuration including Flows, Process Builder migration, Approval Processes, Permission Sets, Profiles, and Role Hierarchy design.
Configure and maintain scoring model automation rules and Engagement Studio programs within Pardot.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
2–5 years of experience in sales operations, CRM administration, or business systems role.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration (custom objects, fields, workflows, reports).
Salesforce Administrator certification required.
Experience with data management, data quality initiatives, and cleansing.
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Experience supporting sales teams and understanding sales processes.
SaaS or technology industry experience preferred.
Experience migrating or consolidating marketing automation platforms is a plus.
Work Environment
Remote (work-from-home).
US Mountain Time schedule (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM MT).
May occasionally require weekend or holiday work for critical duties.
