Admitting Clerk

We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Admitting Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients by managing admissions, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course

• With above-average computer proficiency

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and their families with professionalism and empathy

• Conduct initial interviews to collect patient demographics and required information

• Assist patients in completing admission forms, including billing and contact details

• Handle patient inquiries and facilitate efficient intake processes

• Explain hospital policies, including deposits, payment procedures, and insurance coverage

• Verify patients’ HMO plans, PhilHealth benefits, or other coverage options

• Accurately encode patient data and billing information in the system

• Maintain and update ER and admission logbooks

• Manage room reservations and ensure accurate room tracking
