Job Description:
Food Preparation Assistance:
Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, peeling, washing, and seasoning ingredients (vegetables, meats, fruits).
Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to standard recipes and chef instructions.
Assist with basic cooking techniques like boiling, steaming, sautéing, and deep-frying, often for specific components of a dish.
Station Management:
Prepare and organize their assigned workstation (mise-en-place) before service.
Ensure all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are stocked and ready.
Help with setting up and breaking down the kitchen stations.
Quality and Presentation:
Follow specifications for portion size, quality, and presentation of food items.
Monitor the quality of food being prepared and served during the shift.
Assist with basic plating and garnishing of dishes.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the work area at all times.
Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines, including proper storage, temperature checks, and food labeling/dating.
Wash and disinfect kitchen equipment and the work area.
Stock and Inventory:
Receive and verify kitchen deliveries, ensuring the quality of goods.
Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage.
Notify a senior chef of low or depleted supplies.
Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and support the team during busy periods.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Involvement on beating the monthly target of Food cost, paper cost, wastages and spoilages.
Pleasing personality.

Job Specifications:
College degree preferably culinary or hospitality related course, Bachelor’s
degree is an advantageMinimum of four (1-2) years of working experience in the same industry.
knowledgeable in food safety practices and/or HACCP.
Willing to work on shifting schedules and during weekends and holidays
Preferably residing near Antipolo Rizal Area.
