Outbound Calling Specialist

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and confident Appointment Setter to join our team. This role involves making a high volume of outbound calls to warm leads who have already expressed interest in our services, qualifying prospects, and scheduling appointments for our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, persistent, and completely comfortable on the phone — someone who thrives in a fast-paced calling environment and can engage confidently with prospects throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls — several hundred dials — during scheduled calling hours

  • Contact warm leads from a provided list of prospects who have already expressed interest in our services

  • Qualify leads by asking the right questions to accurately assess fit and interest level

  • Schedule and book qualified prospects into the calendar

  • Follow a proven calling script while adapting naturally and conversationally to each interaction

  • Handle objections professionally and keep prospects engaged throughout the call

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of every call, including outcomes and follow-up notes

  • Update the CRM and lead tracking system after every interaction

  • Follow up with prospects who did not answer or who requested a callback

  • Provide regular and honest feedback on lead quality and the most common objections encountered on calls

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience as an appointment setter, cold caller, or telemarketer

  • Comfortable making several hundred outbound calls per shift without hesitation

  • No fear of the phone — confident, energetic, and persistent on every call

  • Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral, and engaging tone

  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and naturally

  • Experience handling objections and keeping conversations focused and on track

  • Familiarity with CRM and lead tracking tools for accurate call activity logging

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow a script while sounding genuine and natural

  • A stable, high-quality internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free calling environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience setting appointments within the insurance industry

  • Experience calling warm leads — prospects who have already shown interest

  • Familiarity with dialer software and lead management platforms

  • Strong sales instincts with the ability to quickly identify qualified prospects

  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients or prospects

  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain motivation consistently throughout the shift
